Pennsylvania State Flag
Pennsylvania ratified the U.S. Constitution on 1787 as the second State.
Pennsylvania adopted its flag in 1907. The coat of arms incorporates a ship for commerce and a plow and wheat sheaves for agriculture. Draft horses, the American eagle, and the State motto complete the design.
